• Engineering alternative report, plans and specifications and engineering during construction for Flood Protection from Bayou Segnette Pumping Station to Westwego Pumping Station No. 2 in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. The project includes floodwalls, a major levee, a drainage pump station, a navigable sector gate and by-pass channel. (N-Y was a major subconsultant to another firm which also designed the drainage pump station.)

• A reconnaissance level study, plans and specifications and engineering during construction for the Lake Cataouatche Hurricane Protection Levee in Jefferson and St. Charles Parishes, Louisiana, for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The project consists of a 14,000 foot long levee on a new alignment with access roads and bridges. (N-Y was a major subconsultant to another firm.)

• Plans and specifications for a new 750 cfs Interim Drainage Pump Station at the Harvey Canal Sector Gate in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. (N-Y was a major subconsultant to another firm.)

• Feasibility study and conceptual cost estimates for the Hoey’s Basin Pump to the River Project in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.

• Plans and specifications and engineering during construction for an Interim 2100 CFS Drainage Pumping Station at the 17th Street Canal in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers under Task Force Guardian. (N-Y was a major subconsultant to another firm.)

• Plans and specifications and construction administration of the $25 million Claiborne Avenue Manifold Canal (box culvert) from Louisiana Avenue to Jena Street for the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans and the $45 million Jefferson Avenue Canal (box culvert), from South Claiborne Avenue to Dryades Street for the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans both of which are SELA (Southeast Louisiana Flood Control) Projects funded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Claiborne Avenue Project is completed and the Jefferson Avenue project is scheduled for bidding in the last quarter of 2011.

• Preparation of a Master Plan for Storm Drainage Improvements in St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana, followed by plans and specifications and construction administration of various storm drainage Projects each year as the Plan is implemented.
