Mr. Nicoladis has more than 50 years of experience as a consulting engineer. Prior to establishing N-Y in 1969, he worked for three consulting firms and one construction company in Louisiana and Mississippi, where he was a project engineer and then project manager for a variety of civil engineering projects located in various states in addition to the above.

Mr. Nicoladis has had a variety of design, construction administration, and management positions since joining the firm in 1984. He now oversees the daily operations and administration of the firm. His marketing responsibilities include managing the preparation of responses to requests for qualifications and proposals as well as establishing teaming arrangements.

Constantine “Dean” Nicoladis has been employed full time by N-Y since 1987. During this time he has obtained extensive experience in various types of civil engineering projects. These include, among others, water, wastewater, storm drainage, flood and surge control as well as street projects.

Jim Simmons has over 34 years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience with a particular emphasis on transportation projects which include highways, bridges, railroads, streets and ports. His extensive experience also includes drainage systems such as canals and pumping stations, as well as, flood and surge control projects for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.

Mr. O’Rear is responsible for the firm’s architectural practice and has over 18 years of experience. Prior to joining N-Y in 2012, he worked for four firms in Louisiana and North Carolina where he had increasing levels of responsibility including roles as Project Architect, Project Manager, Group Leader, Vice President and Principal in Charge of several hundred projects built in 22 states.

Bruce Richards joined the firm in 1999, and has over 20 years of wide-ranging planning experience in three different states. His experience includes land use and master planning, urban and regional planning, neighborhood planning, transportation planning, and the preparation of environmental (NEPA) documents.

Jerry Williamson has been with N-Y since 2000. He has over 40 years of professional experience, and is responsible for all accounting, fiscal records, and office management systems. His duties include billing, collections, payables, preparation of project management reports and financial statements and corporate tax returns.
