Mr. Nicoladis has had a variety of design, construction administration, and management positions since joining the firm in 1984. He oversees the daily operations and administration of the firm. His responsibilities also include managing statements of qualifications and cost proposals as well as teaming arrangements.

Senior Vice President / Civil Engineer
Constantine “Dean” Nicoladis joined N-Y in 1987. He is responsible for the firm’s general civil and utility engineering practice. This includes water, wastewater, storm drainage, and street projects.

Vice President / Civil and Structural Engineer
Jim Simmons has over 40 years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience including over 30 years with N-Y with an emphasis on transportation and structural projects including highways, bridges, railroads, and ports. His extensive experience also includes drainage structures such as canals, pumping stations, storm surge and flood control projects for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.

Michael G. Buisson, Jr., AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
Vice President / Director of Architecture
Mr. Buisson manages the firm’s architectural practice. He has over 35 years of project experience from Programming and Schematic Design through Construction Documents, Bidding, Negotiating, and Construction Administration. He is responsible for managing project design teams, as well as acting as a liaison between developers, corporate partners, contractors, consultants and regulatory agencies.

Bruce Richards joined the firm in 1999, and has over 30 years of wide-ranging planning experience, including over 25 years with N-Y. This includes land use and master planning, urban and regional planning, neighborhood planning, transportation planning, and environmental (NEPA) documents.

Kristin H. Pearce, CPA, MBA
Vice President / Corporate Controller
Ms. Pearce has 25 years of financial leadership experience and is responsible for all accounting, fiscal records, and financial management systems. Her duties include billing, collections, payables, project management reports and financial statements. Ms. Pearce also maintains personnel records, employee benefits and the firm’s insurance policies.
