N-Y Associates, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary firm that provides engineering, architecture, planning, and program and project management services. The firm was founded over 50 years ago by Frank Nicoladis, who continues to serve as its president. N-Y provides a broad range of civil and structural engineering; architectural; urban, land use and transportation planning as well as program and project management services to clients in both the public and private sectors. Architectural services in some states are provided by an affiliated company, N-Y Architects, Ltd. The firm has been working with local, state and federal funding agencies since it was founded. While the N-Y organization has the expertise to manage large, complex projects, the firm also personally assists its clients from the critical early planning stages to the completion of construction. This coupled with the firm’s ability to meet schedules and adhere to project budgets are some of the reasons why N-Y historically has so many repeat clients. N-Y is a second generation firm, and its staff is seasoned and highly experienced. Many of our employees have been with the firm over 20 years. N-Y has assembled a group of skilled individuals as diverse in background as the various projects they design. Each person offers different facets of experience and knowledge, creating a forum for the exchange of ideas and the development of innovative solutions for our clients’ needs. The firm practices throughout the Gulf South. N-Y has had an office in Metairie, Louisiana (a suburb of New Orleans) since its inception and an office in Biloxi, Mississippi, since 1973. An office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was established in 2005 following Hurricane Katrina. N-Y routinely associates with large nation-wide firms.
